Brandon Was a transgender male. Anatomically female but in his heart & soul he was male. On Dec. 31 a little after 1AM he was found hiding under a blanket in a small farm house in Humbolt NE. No sooner was he discovered than he was brutally murdered. But what took place before the murder was much more worse. 2 men found out about his "identity" and thus they decided to "show him he was really female" and raped him. What the did was worse than taking his life.
They broke his spirit. Even his mother said that there was "a change in his voice." He was not the same. A light had been extinguished.
This is for Brandon Teena who's story has lived on for over 15 years as a reminder that nothing good comes from hate.
His killers are sitting in prison in Nebraska today. They may have killed his body but they will never take his memeory. May they reap every ounce of grief they have sown.

I live in ireland and i just was having a look on this site tonight and i clicked on this web site and i seen this story, and i have to say i am crying as i type this. I dont understand how people can be so bad and do things to hurt others. i hope Brandon is at peace and happy and the people who hurt this innocent person are being punished. There is just so much sadness and badness in the world. RIP Brandon x
